On Saturday, September 23rd, EAA Chapter 431 partnered with the Monroe Optimists Clubs to hold a Young Eagles Rally at the Monroe Airport (KEFT). It was a big success, with 88 kids flown and 15 more to give in the coming weeks.

Thank you to all who volunteered and stuck it out in the hot weather. Thank You EAA Chapter 431 volunteers and pilots for all your dedication to this event. We were a busy bunch! Thank you Monroe Morning Optimists for all your support and enthusiasm. You really made this thing hum along! Thanks Monroe Fire and Police Departments, Green County EMS and Sheriff’s Departments for being there. Thank you Monroe Noon Optimists for the food stand and Monroe Junior Optimists for the treats.
