This post is a bit late, but we wanted to share some photos from the March 10 work day at the EAA Weeks Hangar in Oshkosh. Chapter 431 members were invited to spend a day volunteering with the EAA shop crew so 12 members signed up.
The crew was housed in the EAA Lodge on Friday evening, then spent all day Saturday working on the B-17 “Aluminum Overcast” and the B-25 Berlin Express”. Everyone reports it was a great time doing actual work on these WWII classics that will tour the country this year.
