As of Friday, February 1, 2013, Brodhead Airport has a decent covering of snow, varying in depth from 2″ to 5″ and adequate for ski-plane operations for our annual Groundhog Chili Ski Fly-In on Saturday, February 2.
WEATHER UPDATE: An additional 2-3 inches of light snow is expected overnight Friday. The field should be in fantastic shape for ski-planes! Wheeled airplane operations are not recommended. See you all on Saturday.
