A reminder to all EAA Chapter 431 members that our annual chapter picnic is Sunday, September 23rd at 12:00 noon. We have a fair amount of food left over from the MAAC fly-in so this year only, do not bring a dish to pass except dessert.

Also the same day, the Alzhemier’s and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin is sponsoring the 5th Annual Tractor Drive and Ride which will be based at the Kelch Aviation Museum this year. Chapter members can take a tractor ride around the area for a small fee.

Weeks Hangar Work Day Photos

Cheeseland Chapter EAA 431 Posted on March 21, 2018 by EAA Chapter 431March 21, 2018

This post is a bit late, but we wanted to share some photos from the March 10 work day at the EAA Weeks Hangar in Oshkosh.  Chapter 431 members were invited to spend a day volunteering with the EAA shop crew so 12 members signed up.

The crew was housed in the EAA Lodge on Friday evening, then spent all day Saturday working on the B-17 “Aluminum Overcast” and the B-25 Berlin Express”. Everyone reports it was a great time doing actual work on these WWII classics that will tour the country this year.
