Aviation Explorers

EAA Chapter 431 has partnered with the Boy Scouts of America to create Aviation Explorer Post #108. The post is open to young men and women ages 14 and not yet 21 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of aviation. This is a hands-on program that exposes young people to flying and aviation experiences as a possible career or for the sheer pleasure of being around airplanes. Guest speakers from the aviation industry will be scheduled to bring perspective on various careers.

The Aviation Explorer Post aims to meet twice a month, alternating between a class at the chapter building at Brodhead Airport and an off-site tour of an aviation facility. Schedules will be posted here as events are organized. Annual dues are $33 per student. Please contact us for more information or join us at one of our airport classroom days. E-mail explorer@eaa431.org or call Pat at 608-897-1175.
